Diary Entry #13 – A New Chapter!

January 9, 2017

Hey everyone!

2017 has been good to me so far! How have you all been doing?

I just wanted to do a mini life update to let you all know what’s been going on with me since I haven’t posted in about a week! Also, please leave suggestions below of what topics you would like me to cover and address in my blog this year that would be of interest to you. Below I have listed some of the areas that I particularly enjoy writing/blogging about but I also don’t mind if you have a topic or question outside of that!

Life Update:

    1. I start school tomorrow! Eeek.. It’s been two years since I left! I can’t believe I am beginning a new chapter of my life starting tomorrow. Wow! I am trying to prepare myself for all the essays and work. I will be finishing my Creative Writing degree online.
    2. I am writing a new book! I am pretty excited about this one. It is very close to my heart and I can’t wait to share the details with you all! Please keep me in your prayers.
    3. I’ve had a dream almost every day this week. I feel like the Lord will be developing me even more in my spiritual gifts this year. If you didn’t know, I talk a lot about dreams on my YouTube channel here: https://www.youtube.com/user/karolyneroberts/featured
    4. I am so excited because I am prepping for The Writers Retreat taking place this March in Atlanta, then this summer in New York! The Writer’s Retreat is a retreat where Christian writers of all genres can come and birth their God-given writing projects. To learn more or register, you can go here: www.TheWritersRetreat.org. The first one sold out in just a month! If you want to go, be sure to register before we sell out again! 😉

    *Long Comment* lol

Hi Karolyne! 2017 has been pretty good. And congratulations on going back to school! I hope you do well with your online classes. I’m also a “dreamer” lol. I get dreams ALL the time. I know you have a vid on Youtube about how to know if your dream is prophetic and it was great. But with the dreams I have, I’m not sure what to do with them. Should we confront the people that we see in our dreams to let them know what we saw? Should we fast about the dreams? What if we had a dream but did nothing about it..n kinda just ignored it?

Also, I like that you mentioned spiritual gifts, because I don’t know what mine are lol. What do you think will give hints of our spiritual gift? Do we find out ourselves or does God specifically “reveal” to us our gifts?

I think it would be great to talk about spiritual warfare because now that we’re very much in the last days, Satan is trying to get his hands on anything he can. I always think of the verse that says “be alert, be awake ” , and How do we handle spiritual warfare in dreams and in real life?

And recipes! How to make basic dishes..n breakfast foods

Hello Karolyne! Congratulations on going back to school I’m super exicted for you. You just mentioned in your mini update that you asked if we have any topics that we’ll like for you to discuss. Last year I read your book “Saying yes before the ring” and that was a blessing to me and my relationship. Specially now I’m in the process of writing a book about my love story leading to a godly marriage.

Can you discuss how you and your husband went through the process of getting a place together funiture apartment being approved etc. Also, on how to be deliver from people bonage even through people are saying he may not be the one.

Hey! Congrats on going back to school! I’m rooting and praying for you! I’d love to see more blogs on dreams as I’m a heavy dreamer and always have been! I’m thankful for this blog because spiritual warfare, dreaming & spiritual gifts aren’t covered too much so I’m thankful for this place! It’s comforting to see that I’m not alone or too “deep”! Stay encouraged! Keep us in your prayers! Xoxo
